The owner is the one on your job.
Burson Construction is a one-owner remodeling and building company in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Built in the trade before building a company.
I'm Jeremiah Burson. I grew up in this area and worked in the trade for years, first as an employee and then as a subcontractor. That's how I learned what's behind the walls before I had to price what's in front of them.
I started Burson Construction in 2014, around the time I was starting a family, so the way a job runs would be my call: how the money works, which trades come in, how the schedule is set, and how things get put right when they go sideways.
It's a small company on purpose. Being the owner who is also on the job is the whole point.
Raised in the area he now builds in.
Years in the trade, working for other people until age thirty.
To run jobs his own way.

What it means for your project.
I answer the phone.
No call center, no project manager. Call (843) 505-6126 and you reach the person who can make the decision.
I walk the job.
On site, not in an office. Not a name on a proposal who shows up only for the first and last walk-through.
Fewer jobs at a time.
We may not be the fastest to start. When we're on your job, it has the attention of the person whose name is on the license.
Hours, stated plainly.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Closed weekends. No around-the-clock promises.
Residential work only.
- Kitchens, bathrooms and additions
- Outdoor living: porches, decks, patios, firepits
- Exterior and envelope: siding, windows, doors, roofing, painting
- The systems underneath: plumbing and electrical
Licensed trades for plumbing and electrical.
Plumbing and electrical work is performed by licensed subcontractors I bring in and manage. I hold a Residential Builder license, not a plumbing or electrical license.
No call center. No project manager in between.
Jeremiah Burson answers the phone himself and walks every job. He takes on fewer projects at a time so he can.
